Social Media Coordinator

to assist team members with social media strategy, photography coverage and publishing across all Phoenix Mercury social media channels.

What You Will Do:

Ideate and create engaging, fresh, and interesting organic content to grow our social footprint as well as utilizing social media to support and reach sales initiatives Support Social Media leaders in game day, practice, and event coverage, which includes but is not limited to publishing, content curation, community management and photography Engage in community management by having conversation across channels with fans, players, artists, local media, etc. while building followers and engaging influencers through multiple social media channels Leverage trending topics and conversations in real-time to capitalize on content opportunities to amplify the voice/brand for the Phoenix Mercury Support the Partnership Team with planning and coordination of partner activations, such as digital and social deliverables, branded content, and video series Support Social Media leaders in maintaining a daily, weekly, and monthly social media calendar for both organic and branded content Analyze and optimize performance across Phoenix Mercury social channels using social analytics and listening tools Collaborate with Social Media leaders on social media KPIs to track channel growth Ability to seek out new, innovative ways to build and expand our brand - working with an entrepreneurial spirit What We Need From Our Social Media Coordinator:

2+ years of experience working within social, brand, or strategy Deep knowledge of the WNBA, its players, history, and the upcoming draft class Experience in capturing and editing platform-specific photo and video content using both cell phone and DSLR camera Experience in Sports Photography with a portfolio that displays story-telling documentation of a sports program including pregame, in-game, postgame, celebration and fan interactions Experience supporting social strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Knowledge about social media platforms, with the ability to educate various internal departments on the ever-changing world of social trends and culture Experience/ Education Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree (required) Experienced content creator and mobile-first editor to execute content in real time across multiple platforms (preferred) Experience with Adobe Suite such as Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop (preferred) What You Can Expect:
