Our Marketing and Sales Coordinator aka Junior Journey Architect is a lifestyle expert who helps transform potential customers into Wayfarians (Wayfarer Vans owners) through brand stewardship, education, and guidance. The Junior Journey Architect reports to the Chief Storyteller (Marketing Director) and must be a service-oriented professional who helps build long-term relationships, genuine curiosity in meaningful conversation, and acts as an advisor in customer decision-making.

Responsibilities

We seek a motivated and versatile Junior Journey Architect to join our growing camper van conversion company. This hybrid role blends both sales and marketing responsibilities, offering the opportunity to contribute to both sales growth and marketing execution. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer interaction, creativity, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As a Junior Journey Architect with a split role, you'll be responsible for supporting the sales team by managing inbound and outbound leads, assisting with customer communications, sales reporting, and contributing to the overall customer experience. On the marketing side, you'll be involved in event planning, content deployment, campaign execution, and ensuring the smooth running of a variety of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities: •

Lead Generation Nurturing:

Assist with prospecting, lead generation, and nurturing of prospective Wayfarians through lead nurture and deal creation via email, phone, SMS, and web chat. •

Customer Communications:

Handle pre-sale customer inquiries, follow-up communications, build date / hand-off planning, warranty inquiries, and assist in converting leads into sales. •

Sales Support:

Help with preparing sales orders, managing orders, coordinating product deliveries / van shipping, and ensuring customer satisfaction through the sale and post-sale process. •

Sales Reporting:

Track and report on sales activities, conversions, and lead status in CRM and provide regular updates to the sales and marketing team. •

Product Knowledge:

Build and maintain a strong understanding of the product offerings and effectively communicate features, benefits, and value to customers.

Marketing Responsibilities: •

Event Planning Logistics:

Assist in planning and coordinating company events (e.g., trade shows, demos, product launches). Handle logistics such as booth setup, staffing coordination, ordering event swag, and managing print materials/flyers. •

Customer Experience Management:

Support customer experience throughout their purchase journey (pre-installation instructions, warranty management, product ordering, and owner material preparation). •

Database Management:

Maintain an accurate, up-to-date lead database. Help with data integrity, lead combing, and reporting to ensure the marketing team has actionable insights. •

Lead Nurturing Web Chat Management:

Assist in the creation of landing pages and forms, manage QR codes and web chat features, and ensure timely follow-up with potential leads generated via online platforms. •

Print Direct Mailer Logistics:

Coordinate print materials for marketing campaigns and direct mailers, ensuring timely production and distribution. •

Campaign Prep Content Creation:

Assist with campaign preparation, including blog posts, email marketing campaigns, product listings, website content updates, and graphic design via Canva. •

Reporting Analytics:

Help track the success of marketing campaigns, gather insights from various data sources (website traffic, social media, etc.), and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications:



Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a sales, marketing, or customer service role. Experience in event planning and/or digital marketing is a plus.



Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and marketing platforms.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe

Illustrator/Photoshop/Spark) is a plus.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic understanding of digital marketing practices (email marketing, web chat, social media, etc.).
