Description
We are currently recruiting for a Multimedia Production Specialist to join our Marketing Team based in Columbia, Maryland (open to remote). As a Multimedia Production Specialist, you will create, edit and publish multimedia content (including video, graphic media and photos) for marketing, training and communication needs, company-wide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Producing videos and other media content with diverse scope and objectives, and for different internal and external audiences, including:
Products & services videos
Case studies of construction projects
Work procedure training videos
Internal infomercials highlighting innovations that improve safety, quality, or productivity
Internal company updates
Safety training videos showing both actual site conditions and staged scenarios
Executing diverse aspects of video production, including planning, scripting, resource identification, scheduling, production and post-production efforts.
Handling all aspects of post-production: edit, color correct, sfx, audio mix & master, output for various mediums including digital, social, web, etc.
Capture photos at job sites and post-process for marketing purposes.
Working with a variety of individuals to plan and record effective presentations, interviews, work procedures, and other activities.
Completing safety trainings and other site access requirements when visiting or recording on job sites. Demonstrating a constant commitment to the Company’s safety culture, both in personal behavior and in produced videos and photos.
Participating in, on occasion, construction and other work activities to better understand the details and context of what the Company does, particularly as it relates to specific video projects and understanding our internal audience.
Manage & update content of the company’s websites
Travel – 40% - jobsite travel 2x month
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of related experience
Three to Five years of experience producing and editing creative multimedia content.
Portfolio of video works, preferably with a technical subject matter. Videos should demonstrate high quality attention to detail and aesthetics, and advanced editing and post-production techniques
Portfolio of photography works
Exhibits knowledge of current video production process, principles, and the latest industry trends
Exhibits proficiency in creating or editing motion graphics such as logo stings, lower thirds, title screens, end screens, animated infographics, etc.
Proficient with video production and photography equipment and software, including Adobe Creative Cloud
Demonstrated ability to create products that connect with various audiences
Strong communications skills; visual, verbal, and written
Strong interpersonal skills
Open and flexible to shifting job requirements. Willingness to travel to job sites, as needed
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with various teams and departments.
Ability to maintain attention to detail while handling multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and be responsive
Huge plus: Aerial video experience
Huge plus: Proficient with web design, including experience with HTML, CSS, and WordPress CMS
Demonstrated ability to work with SMEs to understand what needs to be communicated, particularly technical content and learning outcomes
