Must Haves : Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field/experience, with a combination ideal. Strong understanding of GIS fundamentals, cartographic design, and Civil engineering concepts. Over

8 years of experience in GIS product delivery . Advanced proficiency in the ESRI software suite/cloud and its extensions. Experience with

Python, JavaScript, SQL, and REST

web services. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. Extensive experience with

ESRI GIS

software, including ArcGIS Desktop/Pro/Online and its extensions (Spatial & 3D Analyst, Data Reviewer). Knowledge of GIS concepts, geospatial data management, and Microsoft Office Suite. Programming/scripting experience for automation (Python, SQL, and .NET). Web and mobile GIS application development expertise. Strong skills in

cartographic design . Plusses : Civil Engineering Background – i.e. Degree in IT, GIS, or Civil Engineering Knowledge of GIS, LIDAR/Digital Surveys, Trimble and Leica SCADA experience

Day to Day : A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior GIS Program Manager with extensive expertise in ESRI GIS software to lead our company-level GIS Technology program and development initiatives. This role requires strong technical leadership and excellent communication skills. It involves overseeing spatial data management systems and defining and ensuring adherence to company standards. You will collaborate with marketing and project teams to create proposals and deliver exceptional billable services to our clients, including yourself and DLZ Teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and coordinate GIS and geospatial projects. This role may require overnight or extended on-site work at customers' locations. Administer ArcGIS licenses and online resources for DLZ. Create and maintain GIS applications, tools, and automation processes. Mentor GIS staff and coordinate training sessions. Establish, maintain, and measure the effectiveness of GIS documentation and standards. Support mapping applications, troubleshoot GIS problems/solutions, and perform programming and analysis to develop solutions. Design custom applications using the ArcGIS Online suite (Field Map, Survey123, Experience Builder, Dashboard). Conduct complex spatial analysis and data collection and manipulation. Identify market opportunities for GIS and collaborate with DLZ staff to increase market presence.
