Job Duties:
The photographer is responsible for capturing photos and vertical videos of Arkansas sites and attractions that will promote Arkansas as a tourist destination and will be used across social media, website platforms, and some print executions. The position archives photos and videos and manages a media database. The photographer will have experience using Photoshop and other photography-specific software and manages a calendar of multiple assignments. In-state and overnight travel is required. Must possess a combination of technical skills in camera operation and lighting, artistic vision, eye for detail, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in video editing and operating a drone camera.

Summary:
The Production Artist is responsible for developing and producing artwork and design applications. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Functions:
Creates artwork, using materials such as pens, ink, watercolors, charcoal, oil, or computer software. Develops and designs new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish tasks. Integrates and develops visual elements, in order to produce desired effects, such as the illustration of ideas, emotions, or moods. Confers with clients, editors, writers, art directors, and other interested parties regarding the nature and content of work to be produced. Monitors events, trends, and other circumstances, researches specific subject areas, in order to develop ideas and applications. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. Knowledge of marketing techniques and strategy. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Ability to develop creative ways to solve a problem. Ability to concentrate without being distracted.
