Description:

Aurigo is seeking a skilled Proposal Content Specialist to join our dynamic proposal team. The Proposal Content Specialist will manage and curate content used in proposals, ensuring that all materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the company’s strategic vision. This role is essential in driving the consistency and quality of proposal submissions, enabling the team to respond effectively to RFPs, RFIs, and other business opportunities.

This individual contributor role will engage with subject matter experts and senior management to develop the content strategy and then leverage it to identify, collect, synthesize, organize, and manage organizational knowledge. The role involves conducting regular content audits to identify and develop plans to fill content gaps and share best practices across various topics. The role requires knowledge of Aurigo, its business offerings, taxonomy, and key stakeholders.

To be successful as a Proposal Content Specialist, you should have a technical aptitude, excellent project management and communication skills, and experience working in deadline-driven, high-pressure environments, sometimes outside of standard business hours. You must also be extremely organized and detail-oriented.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  2. 4+ years of experience in proposal writing, content management, or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS software or technology industry.
  3. Possess strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
  4. Experience with content management systems and proposal automation tools.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint is preferred.
  7. Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and RFP structures is preferred.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
