Prescient Edge is seeking a Senior Content Editor to support a federal government client.

Description :

  • Augment the Technical Editors and Dissemination team by applying significant experience in the Department of Defense, intelligence and all-source analysis organizations toward reviewing all-source analytic source packets and products.
  • Prior to dissemination, shall verify the products’ correct format, classification portion markings banner classification, source citations, metadata, and (where applicable) evidence of foreign release authorization from the Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO).
  • Shall make a good faith effort to correct minor errors that do not require analytic input or review, such as typos or other minor inaccuracies that can be corrected on the spot.
  • Use the supplied source packet as a resource for these minor corrections prior to dissemination, in order to facilitate the timely publication of intelligence production.
  • Upon completion of the verification process, shall pass the product to disseminators. If errors are identified in the verification process, one shall engage and collaborate with J22 analysts and reviewers until errors are resolved.
  • Proficient in all security and classification markings and guidance to inform review, especially the ODNI standards for classification and declassification markings to ensure all elements of the products conform to those standards.

Desired experience:

  • Desired minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired education:

  • Desired master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.

Security Clearance:

  • Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.
