We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Video Editor & Social Media Manager to join our team. This role starts as part-time and has the potential to transition into a full-time position. You will be responsible for creating engaging content and managing our presence on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, working during prime social media hours in the USA (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM PST).

As our Video Editor & Social Media Manager, you will transform raw footage into captivating content tailored for each platform, ensuring all videos reflect our brand's style and resonate with our audience. Additionally, you will handle the creation of IG/TikTok Stories, actively engage with followers by replying to comments, and contribute to building a strong online community.

  • Video Editing:
  • Edit and optimize raw footage for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Research and include relevant images or video backgrounds to enhance content.
  • Add dynamic captions, sound effects, and transitions to make videos engaging.
  • Ensure videos are tailored to the unique algorithms, formats, and audiences of each platform.
  • Content Creation & Platform Management:
  • Create visually appealing thumbnails for YouTube and Instagram posts.
  • Develop and post IG/TikTok Stories that align with our brand.
  • Strategize, schedule, and publish content during peak engagement times.
  • Maintain a cohesive visual style and aesthetic across all social platforms.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Reply to comments and engage with followers meaningfully to build strong relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Trend Analysis:
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
  • Identify new opportunities to enhance engagement and visibility.
  • Proven experience in video editing and social media management.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Photoshop for creating thumbnails.
  • Ability to craft content optimized for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Strong understanding of IG/TikTok Stories and how to create impactful, engaging content.
  • Experience in community management, including replying to comments and fostering meaningful follower interactions.
  • Excellent research skills to find relevant media for video backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong design aesthetic.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and how to use them for strategic improvements.
