Key Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in event planning.
  • Respond swiftly to booking inquiries and requests.
  • Uphold a commitment to achieving 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee multiple event vendors and independent contractors.
  • Partner with the Events Director to establish effective teams and secure vendor support for special events.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to manage events and projects, guiding subcommittees and reporting progress to the Events Coordinator.
  • Assist in creating detailed budget worksheets for assigned events.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours, including some weekends as necessary.
Required Skills

  • Proficiency in modern technology, including video conferencing and social media platforms.
  • A demonstrated passion for the event industry.
  • Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on responsiveness.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain composure under pressure.

  • Experience with South Asian weddings is preferred.
