FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment, and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX10, Arizona's preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative Associate Producer to join our dynamic team! In this position, you will assist with all areas of newscast production including:

  1. Writing
  2. Content selection and research
  3. Organizing scripts
  4. Newscast timing
  5. Producer graphics
  6. Basic video editing
  7. Booking guests
  8. Field producing spot news stories and special segments

Work cohesively with producers, photographers, reporters, and editors to produce news stories.

Minimum Requirements:

4-year college degree or equivalent required. Six (6) months broadcast news experience required. Requires a solid background in writing and news production. Must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with PC and industry-specific software. Overtime, holidays, and varied hours required.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $22.42-27.23 per hour for high cost labor markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $18.50-22.50 per hour for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
