We are currently seeking a dedicated, motivated and entrepreneurially minded Health Promotion Specialist with a passion for developing and implementing holistic well-being programs for a high-profile corporate client located in Rancho Mirage, CA.
What you will do:
- Assess members’ health needs using audit tools and feedback in order to develop and deploy appropriate well-being solutions and programming.
- Coordinate, develop and deliver a range of programs that educate members on how to improve their health and well-being.
- Partner with the client, vendors and community resources to execute well-being strategies that will improve members’ health and mental resilience.
- Coordinate health and well-being marketing and communications relating to the community’s on-site and virtual spaces in order to promote healthy behavior and health care engagement.
- Report on engagement, referrals, well-being initiatives and results in order to demonstrate improvement in baseline metrics.
What we are looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., health promotion, health education, public health).
- Three or more years of experience in health promotion, health management, human resources and organizational behavior or a related field.
- The ability to multi-task, and to execute time-management, problem-solving, organizational and follow-up skills.
- Strong technical and regulatory knowledge.
- The ability to network, engage and interact with clients and members.
- Competence with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Health plan experience.
Additional knowledge and experience that you can bring to this role, but which is not required:
- Master’s degree in health promotion management, public health or a related field.
- Related health promotion or public health certification, such as National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), WellCert Certified Wellness Practitioner or CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist).
- Five years of industry experience.
