Summary:

Reports to the Chief Medical Director and is responsible for managing and executing one or more health improvement and disease prevention strategies within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction. This person will design, develop, and deliver wellness products, programs, and services for customers throughout the Hopkins enterprise. The Project Manager will provide leadership, and support, and will collaborate with other Johns Hopkins Medicine affiliates to implement or improve other workplace wellness programs. This position will be a highly visible component of JHM wellness initiatives and must be able to promote health behaviors and project a positive and supportive image of workplace wellness.

Knowledge:

Requires knowledge of current and emerging healthcare trends, health behavior/education principles, population health, and prevention. Must know best practices in workplace wellness. Must have experience with or be able to demonstrate knowledge of improving a workplace culture of health. Requires a basic understanding of project management principles.

Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or a closely related field. Health Education, Wellness, and/or Project Management certifications are preferred.

Work Experience: Requires a minimum of five years of project management experience, preferably in a managed care and/or health system setting. Must have a minimum of five years of experience in the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of health and productivity initiatives aimed toward improving the health status of a population in the work/employer setting.

Salary Range: Minimum $33.40 per hour - Maximum $55.16 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
