Horizontal Talent is hiring: UX Designer in Denver

We are seeking talented UX Designers to join our dynamic team and contribute to exciting design projects for our clients. This remote position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful impact on user experiences.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and preferences through various methodologies.
2. Create personas, user journey maps, and empathy maps to inform design strategies.
3. Facilitate discovery activities, including workshops and stakeholder interviews, to develop clear experience strategies.
4. Lead the creation of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other design deliverables.
5. Implement accessibility best practices to ensure inclusivity in design.
6. Plan and conduct user testing to gather insights and iterate on designs based on feedback.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs from concept to implementation.
8. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the establishment of design standards within the organization.

Skills

1. 6+ years of experience as a UX professional, preferably in a digital-first agency or consultancy.
2. Strong background in user-centered design methodology and human factors.
3. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
4. Effective communication skills to engage with colleagues and clients at all levels.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

1. Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction or related fields.
2. Experience with responsive and mobile design, design systems, and accessibility best practices.
3. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
4. Background in taxonomy and Digital Asset Management IA.
