Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows, with millions of titles available on-demand on Kindle, Fire TV, mobile devices, game consoles, Internet-connected TVs, and Blu-ray players. We are seeking an innovative Content Policy Operations Specialist to support the Prime Video Trust & Safety Operations team in protecting customers from copyright infringing content and demonstrating high judgment on account enforcement. Prime Video Trust & Safety programs aim to enable a globally trusted customer experience by ensuring that Prime Video (PV) provides content customers love and trust and accurate, meaningful, and complete information to empower customers to make informed viewing choices for themselves and their children.

We are looking for a highly motivated Content Policy Operations Specialist to help protect our customers against content-related risks and drive projects to improve efficiency. This role will involve handling day-to-day issues as well as strategizing on longer-term, program-wide initiatives.

The ideal candidate is:

Please note this position must be located in Austin, TX, and follows Amazon's 5-days in-office policy. No other worksite locations will be considered. Relocation benefits are available to those who qualify.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct manual reviews of global content policy compliance operations.
  2. Make high judgment decisions on compliance actions.
  3. Drive projects that improve support-related functions and processes, prioritizing ways to leverage technology and automate.
  4. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures by coordinating with Policy, Operations, and Program teams.
  5. Document comprehensive content investigations reports.
  6. Help drive critical decisions by building dashboards/reports, analyzing metrics, and surfacing insights to improve efficiency.
  7. Participate in ad-hoc projects/assignments as necessary.
  8. Develop subject matter expertise in industry best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience working in relevant industries such as Trust & Safety, risk management, investigations, project, or program management.
  2. Proven ability to exercise judgment when policies are not well defined.
  3. High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
  4. Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  5. Demonstrated ability in handling strategic and confidential projects, data-analysis, and report writing.
  6. Intermediate experience with MS Office (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP).
  7. Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Fluency in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, or Turkish.
  2. Experience supporting elections.
  3. Strong collaboration skills with a proven ability to work across functions and influence senior leaders.
  4. Intermediate SQL skills.
  5. Experience in threat intelligence research, such as investigating, researching, or analyzing current trends, news, and historical events.
  6. Organized, independent, and autonomous, able to set and meet own deadlines, and operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems; identifying customer needs and inventing new and efficient ways to meet those needs.
  8. A love of movies and TV!
