What You’ll be Doing:
- As a Senior Technical Writer to our Public Sector, you will be responsible for creating, writing, editing, and maintaining technical documents and manuals, explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner, and working with existing staff to ensure accuracy of company documentation.
- Support TTEC federal, state, and other public sector programs (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, IL4 /5 and MARS-E).
- Manage, edit, and assist stakeholders with writing and developing policies, procedures, and audit/compliance documentation for document owners and leadership.
- Manage and maintain libraries of documentation to support various projects and departments.
- Review, edit, and analyze documents (including reports and communications) to maintain continuity of style and content.
- Manage the annual update and review cycle for all documents and handle associated stakeholder notifications and communications.
- Regularly communicate with, and report to, management on the current status of documentation throughout the year.
- Pre-assessment, proactively work with compliance and SMEs (Subject Matter Expert) to ensure documentation is available and current. Post-assessment, collaborate with compliance and SMEs to perform doc updates/remediation, as needed.
- Work with the Client and Supplier Assurance Management, Legal, Sourcing/Procurement, and Compliance teams, as needed, to address and research issues related to new client RFIs/RFPs and annual supplier security assessments.
- Handle documentation related research and provision requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Security, Engineering, and Compliance) to translate technical requirements and processes into clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
- Ensure consistency and compliance with government standards, including FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 frameworks, by reviewing and editing documentation to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Streamline documentation processes by implementing best practices for version control, formatting, and document management in secure and collaborative environments.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Bachelor's degree or certificate in technical writing/communication preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite required, proficiency with Visio and SharePoint highly desired.
- General knowledge and experience with information security/technology related functions, tools, concepts, and applications preferred.
- Minimum 3 years work experience writing documentation or communications required.
- Minimum 2 years writing policy and procedural documentation for various Information Security, Information Technology, and Compliance/Legal departments or teams.
- Extremely strong attention to detail in terms of style, grammar, form, consistency, etc.
- Ability to manage libraries/projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
- Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.
- Professional level written, and high-level verbal, communication skills are required; the position requires regular interaction with managers and subject matter experts throughout the organization, including senior/executive level stakeholders.
- Submission of two (2) writing samples (at least one of which must be in a procedural/explanatory format).
- Native English speaking/writing ability.

The anticipated range is $90,000-95,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
