Your seat at the table: Sales and Marketing Director You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to: Lead, Manage, and drive Accountability Development, alignment and execution of Sales growth strategies Ensure gross margins & profitability meet or exceed targets Customer service and satisfaction Division brand execution Responsibilities include: Hire, train, and motivate your team to create and maintain quality client relationships Set sales targets, establish sales processes, and implement strategies to drive sales growth Create and implement short and long-term marketing strategies to meet sales targets Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, e-commerce, site visits, and other methods Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and set strategic goals Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify target markets, understand customer needs, and assess market opportunities Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand Prepare accurate and complete sales reports documenting marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing plans Consult with sales managers and stakeholders to evaluate the company's performance Generate new business while also increasing customer loyalty by cultivating long-term relations with customers Ensure consistent messaging, effective lead generation, and brand positioning Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise; ensure staff is fluent in all aspects of product knowledge Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing Minimum of 5 or more years’ experience in sales and marketing with some experience in sales management Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Position reports to the President of this division.
