The Digital Marketing Privacy Manager will be an integral part of the US Pain Business Unit, which is preparing for potential commercialization of suzetrigine, an investigational novel selective inhibitor of NaV 1.8 in acute pain.

In this role, you will help shape the future of privacy in marketing, ensuring that customer data is used responsibly while delivering seamless and personalized experiences. The Marketing Privacy Manager is responsible for working with marketers and other cross-functional teams to ensure we appropriately consider existing and emerging data privacy regulations across marketing channels (e.g., digital media, social, email). This role will work closely with the Marketing, Privacy, and DTE Teams to integrate privacy principles, capabilities and enhancements into marketing strategies while maintaining a customer-centric focus. The ideal candidate will understand digital marketing, marketing technology and data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, CPRA, My Health My Data). Applicants should have experience working in commercial business units, with legal and privacy teams, demonstrated success in educating and coaching colleagues, a strategic vision for optimizing customer experience for our customers, and a commitment to driving change in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the responsible use of customer data across marketing channels. Ensure proper handling of personal data through technology platforms and media (e.g., CRM, email, social media). Work with marketing, product, and analytics teams to integrate privacy considerations into marketing automation, segmentation, and personalization strategies. Ensure all marketing campaigns, tools, and processes adhere to data privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, HIPAA). Serve as the business lead responsible for working with a cross-functional team on the establishment of the roadmap for the universal consent management platform to be implemented. Implement customer consent management processes and ensure that opt-ins are correctly captured across platforms. Collaborate with Privacy Office to proactively monitor changes in privacy landscape and work with impacted teams to inform adjustments to marketing practices and maintain compliance. Engage with Privacy and Legal teams to develop privacy notices, consent forms for customer-facing platforms and develop guidelines for data collection, usage, storage, and sharing. Work with Privacy and other cross-functional teams on establishing data governance policies, ensuring data accuracy, protection, and ethical usage in personalization and targeting efforts. Support marketing teams by providing training on privacy best practices and data handling. Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree. 5+ years of experience in marketing or data privacy roles, preferably within a regulated industry (healthcare/biopharmaceuticals experience is preferred). Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms (email, social media, websites) & media channels and the associated privacy requirements. Demonstrated understanding of the legal, regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements within the healthcare/biopharmaceutical industry. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex privacy concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills

Familiarity with omnichannel marketing strategies and technologies (CRM, Marketing Automation & Customer Data Platforms). Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex privacy concepts to other stakeholders. Entrepreneurial spirit and courage to challenge the status quo to develop compliant innovative and focused approaches that will enable launch. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with senior leaders as well as more varied large audiences. Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and results-driven environment within a growing business unit where we are concurrently learning & building as we drive towards product launch.
