Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.

Role Overview:

Associate Director, Digital Marketing IT Business Partner

Reporting to the Director, Commercial IT, the Associate Director, Digital Marketing IT Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting marketing technology initiatives across the U.S. and Europe. This position will serve as a strategic IT business partner, ensuring seamless deployment, management, and optimization of Marketing technology platforms supporting websites, marketing automation, PRC/MLR and customer data management. The role is critical in enabling marketing success and aligning IT solutions with business needs.

Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Collaborate with the Marketing and Commercial IT leadership teams to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives.

Serve as a thought leader in leveraging technology to enhance marketing capabilities and efficiency.

Digital Marketing Technology Platform Management:

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of key marketing platforms, including:

WordPress Hosting: Manage website enhancements to support marketing initiatives.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Facilitate marketing automation and engagement tools to improve customer outreach.

Veeva Vault PromoMats: Support compliant content management for marketing materials.

Customer Data Platform (CDP): Utilize data insights to enable targeted marketing and customer segmentation.

Operational Excellence:

Drive integration of IT solutions across U.S. and European teams, ensuring consistency and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate platform performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Team Collaboration:

Act as the primary liaison between Marketing and IT teams, facilitating seamless communication and alignment.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Patient Access, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs, to deliver integrated solutions.

Partner with vendors and external stakeholders to manage system implementations and upgrades.

Project Management:

Lead complex IT projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Document project requirements, progress, and outcomes to maintain transparency and alignment.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all systems comply with relevant data privacy and regulatory standards in both U.S. and European markets.

Stay informed about emerging compliance requirements to maintain system integrity and readiness.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

8+ years of experience in Commercial IT, with a focus on supporting Marketing teams and digital platforms in the pharmaceutical industry.

Proven track record of successful implementation and management of IT systems supporting HCP, Consumer and Patient Marketing teams.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to IT systems in support of Patient Services.

Skills and Competencies:

Strategic thinking and leadership abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering results.

In-depth knowledge of IT systems relevant to Digital Marketing, including marketing automation, consent management, WordPress website hosting and analytics, digital asset management, promotional material reviews.

Regulatory affairs knowledge related to IT systems in the pharmaceutical industry.

Compensation:

Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
