We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic / Packaging Designer to join our in-house creative agency. In this role, you will be responsible for creating eye-catching and effective packaging designs for our diverse range of products. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams to ensure designs align with brand guidelines and meet production requirements. This position requires an individual with a strong understanding of design principles, excellent technical skills, and a passion for creating packaging that stands out on the shelves.
Responsibilities:
Design innovative and engaging packaging for various products, adhering to established brand guidelines.
Create print and digital marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and web graphics.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure designs meet project objectives.
Prepare design files for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in packaging design.
Present design concepts and rationale to internal stakeholders.
Work efficiently within deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of proven experience in graphic design, with a focus on packaging design.
A strong portfolio showcasing your skills and experience in packaging, print, and digital design.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience with design for motion and video is a plus.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
