Qualifications:
- Experience editing on a system such as iMovie, Final CutPro, Adobe Audition
- Ability to create content such as commercials and highlight reels
- Past experience broadcasting is highly preferred but not required.

Requirements:
- Must have completed or be working towards a degree in Communications, Sports Management, Marketing, Business or a related field from an accredited college or university
- An outgoing personality and a professional demeanor
- Someone who is serious about a career in professional or amateur team sports
- Must have knowledge of baseball
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, highly organized, strong work ethic; ability to present ideas clearly, concisely, and on time
- Adapts to change in the work environment and appropriately manages competing demands
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to manage his/her own individual projects
- Must be able to work all home games (including exhibition, All-Star Game and playoffs) both nights and weekends (end of May thru first week of August)

Responsibilities:
- Provide Play by Play
- All home games
- Most away games
- Travel on team bus
- Coordinate with co-broadcaster and opposing team for broadcast location at their stadium and your needs
- Responsible for in-game promos such as: "Tonight's starting pitcher is John Smith brought to you by Friendship Automotive". To be advertised EVERY game broadcast
- Coordinate with Director of Baseball Operations for Sponsor requirements

- Write game recap article after each home game
- Give to Owner for submission to newspaper(s)
- Radio Show
- WAGY radio show to promote upcoming events (Pat Nanney)
- Determine how many at the beginning of the season
- Obtain "Weekend at a Glance" from Marketing Intern for reference
- WCAB radio show to promote upcoming events
- Determine how many at the beginning of the season
- Obtain "Weekend at a Glance" from Marketing Intern for reference
- Coordinate away game broadcasts to play on live radio
- Sponsor Commercials
- Get to Sponsors at the beginning of the year to either film and/or record or reuse existing commercials for home game live streams and away game radio streams
- Collaborate with Videography Intern to film commercials for home game live streams
- Record commercials for away game radio streams
- Stats
- Continually update player stats
- Print stat sheets with basic pitching and hitting stats (both teams)
- Obtain quantity requirement from Marketing Intern
- Give to Marketing Intern for insertion in game day programs
- Streaming Games
- Coordinate with Flo Sports and CPL to set-up live stream settings (on OBS [free and easy] or another streaming software) for home games
- Home stream MUST include graphics (scoreboard, team logos, updating) plus score, inning, balls, strikes and outs (league director or previous broadcaster(s) can help with this)
- Coordinate on slack (N.O.C. team) to test stream audio and video before each home game
- Stream the away games via Mixlr (used in the past) or another platform
- Clip and edit highlight reels to provide to our marketing intern to post on socials
- Twitter
- Coordinate with Social Media Intern to provide FloSports & Mixlr links
- Pre-game and post-game interviews (weekly "SportsCenter" videos and commercials)
- Collaborate with Videography Intern
- Give to Social Media Intern for posting
- Collaborate with Videography Intern
Responsibilities (all Interns):
- Office hours include Monday-Saturday from 10am-5pm. You will receive 2 days off per week (Sunday included, unless we have a scheduled home game in which that will be scheduled for a different day off).
- We will have a meeting every Monday to discuss the upcoming week
- Be a responsible young adult, If you are going to be late for any reason please communicate that with your supervisor.
- If you are ever having a slow day, collaborate with the other Interns and share ideas.
- Attire
- Office
- Business Casual clothing as you may be sent out to sponsors or fans assigned at random.
- Inappropriate attire for the office:
- spaghetti strap tank tops
- low cut shirts such as deep Vnecks
- biker shorts
- graphic tees
- ripped jeans
- flip flops (please note these are different than dress sandals)
- open back tops
- stained clothing
- unbrushed or unkept hair/facial hair

- Game Time
- Khaki, white, or black shorts / skirts (must be mid thigh length or longer)
- Logo polo or logo t-shirt (both will be issued upon arrival during orientation and each intern will wear the same one on game day)
- Athletic Shoes (avoid new white sneakers as they will get ruined)
- EVERYONE may choose to wear themed shirts or outfits for other games (ie: Faith Night, July 4th, etc.) (not provided)
- Name tags will be provided upon arrival and you will be expected to wear these for all home games
- Ballpark
- After the game - All Interns will help with clean-up/break-down
- Empty all garbage cans and take to dumpster
- Walk all sections of seating bowl including the perch and collect any trash
- Clear firework debris (when necessary)
- Refill garbage cans with new liner
- If any player/coach/fan possessions are located, take them to our lost and found
- EVERYONE leaves together at the end of the night

- Communication is key
- Keep the whole team up to date on what's going on
- Be honest with us and we'll be honest with you
- Speak to us directly if you have any issues
- The Owls play on the field as a team and we expect you to do the same off the field.
- Community
- Make any community appearances that are asked of you (food drive, holiday, camp, etc.)
- Confidentiality
- You are going to have access to a lot of information during this Internship and it is IMPERATIVE that you do not share any private info with anyone outside our team
- If you must think twice about saying it or posting it, don't do it
- Dancing
- During rain delays, ALL interns will gather on the concourse and dance and entertain the fans
- Fan Engagement
- You will become very familiar with our Sponsors, season ticket holders, pub table owners and regular attendees.
- Each intern will be designated a section. We expect you to get to know those sitting in that section and create a positive fan experience.
- Vacation
- Do not plan a vacation week with friends or family during the last week in June or the first week in July. We understand family events but prefer you plan accordingly. Please inform us when family comes to visit as we love meeting your parents and siblings and want you to be able to spend time with them during their visit as well.
