Sweet Group LLC (Sweet) is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our 112-year-old New York-based general contracting and construction management firm. Sweet provides the full spectrum of design-build, infrastructure, disaster response, and health facility services. As a leader in the construction industry, Sweet Group serves all levels and sectors of government and private industry.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, creating, and implementing new and innovative marketing strategies for the company, including, but not limited to, event planning and coordination, social media, printed materials, and web content. The Marketing Manager may also liaise with the Northeast Proposal team on proposal and solicitation responses, as well as support the company's strategic growth goals, initiatives, and service offerings in the New York and Northeastern market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new and innovative marketing strategies for the Northeast Division, including, but not limited to, social media opportunities, speaking engagements, event attendance/sponsorship, printed materials, company newsletters, and electronic media/marketing.
- Coordinate, design, and execute various company-branded project sheets, literature, ads, graphics, resumes, event materials, and other internal and external communications.
- Manage all company and program social media accounts and develop all content, including working with photographers to document project completion.
- Regularly review project progress, metrics, and other successes to determine opportunities for promotion on social media and other outlets.
- Monitor opportunities for speaking engagements.
- Event management, including determining appropriate sponsorship opportunities, developing materials and giveaway items for events, as well as attending events and representing the company (this may involve travel).
- Support central proposal team in editing, graphic or other proposal needs, as directed.
- Draft high-quality content and manage regular updates to company websites as well as any project/program-specific websites.
- Develop analytics to determine success of strategies.
- Conduct market trend analysis and analyze marketing strategies of other companies in the same sector.
- Collaborate with the executive team, key personnel, and subject matter experts as needed.
- Must work full-time in the NYC Office.
- Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University in Marketing, Communications, or a related program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and email marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and SharePoint.
- Experience in email marketing and content creation tools, including Canva and Constant Contact.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in web and graphic design.
- Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
- Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
- Occasional lifting (up to 15 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.
