Unwell is looking for a dynamic, fast paced and trend-savvy Social Media Lead to drive our presence across all platforms and IP. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of social media strategy, content creation, and audience building and engagement across a variety of categories. You'll leverage your expertise to shape and execute innovative social strategy and campaigns across multiple IPs that align with Unwell's brand and resonate across our diverse audiences.

Reporting to the CMO, you'll help build and lead a team of social media professionals, collaborate on content creation, and refine strategies that drive measurable growth. Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional leads to understand the brand, IP or initiative and develop strategic and thoughtful social plans to support the initiative. Lead the execution and organization of content creation through posting.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Oversee the development and execution of social strategy and content that is both engaging and aligned with Unwell's brand voice. From short-form videos to live event coverage, you'll ensure content captivates our audience while meeting strategic goals.
  • Creative Alignment: Partner with the creative team to ensure that all social content reflects Unwell's brand vision while maintaining distinct voices for each IP under our umbrella.
  • Trend Identification: Monitor emerging trends and platform updates, incorporating them into our strategy to keep Unwell's content fresh, innovative, and relevant.
  • Audience Engagement: Engage actively with our audience by monitoring comments and feedback, using insights to shape future strategies and ensure content resonates with the community.
  • Collaboration & Analytics: Work closely with the Head of Marketing to review content performance, refine strategies based on analytics, and drive actionable insights.
  • Team Leadership: Support the social media team by fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, providing creative direction, and ensuring high-quality output across all platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strategic Expertise: Deep understanding of all major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), including their algorithms, best practices, and performance metrics.
  • Creative Vision: Ability to align content strategies with Unwell's creative vision, ensuring consistency while exploring innovative approaches to storytelling.
  • Filming and Editing: Plan, film, and edit high-quality content for various social media platforms, ensuring all visuals align with Unwell's brand standards. Oversee the entire production process, from concept to final delivery, to create engaging and on-trend content that resonates with our audience.
  • Trend Awareness: Proven ability to identify and capitalize on emerging social trends to create engaging, timely content.
  • Audience-Centric Approach: Strong track record of audience engagement and leveraging community feedback to inform content decisions.
  • Adaptability: Skilled at navigating platform changes and evolving trends to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
  • Experience: 10+ years in social media strategy and content creation, with demonstrated success in driving engagement and brand growth.
