Your Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate and professional music therapy according to company protocols and best practices. Educate patients, staff, and facility partners about the benefits and practices of music therapy. Work collaboratively to establish therapy objectives as part of the patient assessment. Plan, evaluate, and adjust therapy sessions for maximum effectiveness. Actively engage in therapy sessions through playing instruments, singing, and listening. Encourage patient participation and respond musically to their expressions for comfort. Support the patient's creative expression and facilitate positive changes in their well-being. We Are Looking For Someone Who Has: A Bachelor of Music Therapy degree. Current Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) credential. State music therapy license, if required. At least 6 months of experience in geriatric health care. At least 6 months of experience with end-of-life or terminal illness care. We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
