What you’ll do…

The Technical Writer plays an important role in executing a content strategy to educate various audiences on Enchanted Rock. This position will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the company and oversee the creation, editing, and implementation of content to engage target audiences, drive brand awareness, and educate opportunities. This position reports to the Director, Account Based Marketing (ABM) and is based out of our headquarters in downtown Houston, TX.


You’ll make an impact by:

• Implement a comprehensive content strategy that targets all Enchanted Rock audiences, including data centers, hospitals, critical infrastructure, and architecture & engineering firms. Identify key themes, messaging points, and formats to produce relevant and compelling content.

• Customer Lifecycle content support: Support Sales, Engineering and Account Management by creating and refining content, including customer proposals, RFP responses, pitch decks, product or service brochures, and other touchpoints that drive growth and keep customers informed on Enchanted Rock’s performance.

• Produce high-quality technical content, including white papers, thought leadership articles, presentations, campaign copy, sales enablement materials, case studies, event abstracts, document templates, training materials and more. Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

• Maintain ownership of Sales Kit and content publication process, identifying gaps, educating stakeholders on resources, and ensuring regular updates.

• Produce graphics using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator to support content needs.

• Manage relationships with vendors that produce third-party content for Enchanted Rock, such as graphic designers, photographers, and videographers. Coordinate planning and execution of content while staying within budget.

• Partner with Corporate Communications team to establish and maintain content governance practices including content calendars, workflows, and style guides. Maintain brand consistency, voice, and tone across all assets, including by partnering with Sales and Engineering on

Requirements:

You'll sweep us off your feet if you:

· Have experience creating content for technical and energy-focused industries, including data centers or utilities.

· Are a skilled editor with the ability to improve clarity and effectiveness in complex proposals and documents.

· Excel at translating technical concepts into accessible and compelling content.


What you'll need:

· Bachelor's Degree

· 5+ years of relevant experience

· To be a skilled writer and a wiz in Canva (or similar) and can convey complex ideas effectively through those media.

· To be extremely organized and able to give readouts on work products and statuses as needed.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Strong sense of teamwork and fostering a collaborative environment.

· Able to use data to tell a compelling story.

· A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, DIY environment.

· Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse audiences.

· Physical requirements and working conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry [files weighing up to 20 pounds]; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
