We're seeking a talented mid- to senior-level UX Researcher to join our team and ensure our digital products are accessible to all users. You'll play a vital role in conducting user research, identifying accessibility barriers, and driving innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct User Research: Gather insights and identify areas for improvement through user research and usability testing.
• Champion Accessibility: Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA, Section 508) throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop Guidelines: Create and maintain comprehensive accessibility guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to integrate accessibility considerations.
• Conduct Audits: Regularly assess products for accessibility using industry-standard tools and provide actionable recommendations.
• Communicate Insights: Clearly convey usability and accessibility findings to stakeholders.
• Promote Inclusivity: Advocate for accessibility within the organization, raising awareness and fostering a culture of inclusive design.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in UX and accessibility.
• Train and Support: Provide training and support to team members on accessibility principles and inclusive design methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in HCI, UX Design, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in UX design and accessibility analysis.
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
• Proficiency in UX design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Experience with accessibility evaluation tools (Axe, WAVE, JAWS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPACC) a plus.
