Job Description
The candidate will join an existing team that works closely with program area stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy web applications. Project and maintenance work are ongoing and include .NET MVC web applications (transitioning to .NET Core) with heavy use of JavaScript, jQuery, C#, Entity Framework, and Kendo UI components. They also use WebAPI, n-tier architecture and SQL Server.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Interviews: Phone and web based interviews will be acceptable. However, an in-person interview may be required.
Duration: 6/30/2025, with the potential to extend for an additional term(s)
Location: The candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role. This is a remote position, but the candidate may be required to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice.
On Call hours:Yes, limited
Weekend coverage:Yes, limited
The candidate will be required to provide their own equipment for this position. (See job description for required specifications.)
MUST provide three (3) business references for the interview (candidate DOES NOT need to provide references at time of submission).

- Perform requirements analysis and documentation.
- Front-end and back-end web application development, and testing.
- Participate in interactive code reviews, and development using technologies mentioned above.
- Develop quality code, actively participate in code reviews, work to understand the business reasons behind coding design/decisions (looking at the "big picture").
- Communicate respectfully and professionally and share expertise.
- Perform production support.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with requirements and design analysis. years
- Experience with post-production support for web-based applications.
- Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation, including technical requirements and design.
- Clear and concise communication skills, written and verbally.
- Experience with .NET application and web application design patterns.
- Full stack and application development expertise using .NET MVC with C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap.
- Experience with Kendo framework.
- Experience with Entity Framework.
- Experience using CSS and HTML, and writing JavaScript based responsive HTML 5 applications.
- Experience with the full SDLC and knowledge of project management principles.
- Experience with authentication and authorization techniques.
- Experience with DB2 and Oracle databases, MS SQL Server and SQL Client tools, IIS server.
- Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.
- Experience performing unit and smoke tests.
- Experience with Crystal Reports or MS Access-based applications.
- Dataflow and structure modeling, data modeling.
- Experience with TFS, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with automated testing methodologies.

- Experience with financial application development.
