JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all industry-standard video editing software and have a solid understanding of video production from start to finish. Experience with photography and photo editing is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content that aligns with our brand standards.
• Work closely with the production team to understand project goals and deliverables.
• Use advanced techniques in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve to create dynamic and engaging videos.
• Assist in video shoots, ensuring high-quality footage is captured.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and software updates.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines (sometimes 24-hr turnaround times will be required).
• Basic knowledge of photography and editing photos using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One (is a plus).
• Participate and contribute ideas and strategies during creative brainstorm sessions.
• Maintain our in-house studio and make sure it is kept up to standard.
• Maintain all production equipment to make sure that it stays organized and is properly stored after a production.
• Capture social media content for local and travel events.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
  • Premiere Pro
  • After Effects
  • Final Cut Pro
  • DaVinci Resolve
• Experience in shooting video with a strong understanding of camera operation and framing.
• Proficiency in audio editing. Experience in editing and enhancing audio tracks for video, including voiceovers, interviews, and sound bites, to ensure high-quality sound integration within video projects.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• 5+ Years Experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Lifting: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
• Sitting/Standing: Must be able to remain in the seated/standing position throughout the workday.
