Base pay range

We’re seeking a Production Manager to lead the production process and technical aspects of our events. This role is perfect for a dynamic, experienced professional ready to plan, execute, and elevate every event utilizing their broad knowledge of audio, video, lighting, power distribution, and rigging to ensure quotes, plots/renderings, and technical layouts are accurate. You will be a leader on our team with involvement in many aspects of the business. Your ideas and expertise will directly shape the company’s growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the entire event production lifecycle, from client proposals to planning, event prep, event setup, event execution, tear down, and client offboarding.
  2. Collaborate with clients to create custom event designs, mockups, and budgets.
  3. Attend client meetings and on-site visits to align event vision and execution.
  4. Manage event schedules, logistics, labor, and technical requirements.
  5. Oversee A/V setups, including audio, video, lighting, power distribution, rigging, and streaming.
  6. Lead production crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices.
  7. Research and implement new technologies to maintain cutting-edge capabilities.
  8. Foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
  9. Develop innovative scenic and technical designs that exceed client expectations.
  10. Collaborate with internal and external partners to elevate every event.
  11. Maintain an organized, transparent, and on-time production planning process.

Experience:

  1. This role requires a seasoned A/V tech with expansive knowledge in every vertical of live event production.
  2. Experience: 3-5+ years in event production management or technical direction.
  3. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in A1/V1 engineering, lighting (L1/L2), rigging, and software (Vectorworks, Capture.se).
  4. Preferred: Working knowledge of Vectorworks, CAD software, Google Suite, and Monday.com is preferred.
  5. Design Skills: Ability to draft plans, elevations, and construction documents.
  6. Client-Facing Skills: Experience interacting with executives and senior-level professionals.
