Production Designer Job at Robert Half in Chicago

We are seeking a talented Production Designer to join our client, manufacturing company, on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a range of content including instruction manuals, product spec sheets, tradeshow graphics, and brochures. This role will focus heavily on production (80%) while also incorporating elements of design (20%).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing and producing a variety of marketing materials.
2. Creating instruction manuals, spec sheets, tradeshow graphics, and brochures.
3. Managing projects from conception to completion while meeting strict deadlines.
4. Collaborating effectively with teams and stakeholders to enhance the overall design process.

This role is fully on-site (5 days per week) in Bedford Park, IL.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Proven experience using Adobe software including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
2. Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
3. Stellar communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
4. MUST be willing to work 5 days per week onsite in Bedford Park, IL.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Experience with WordPress is highly preferable.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
