Job Title: Graphic Designer / Label Designer
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Are you a detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a passion for creating precise, high-quality labels and artwork in a regulated environment? Join our team in Colorado Springs, CO, where you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining medical device labeling that meets global compliance standards. This is an onsite position with a focus on teamwork, accuracy, and excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development:
- Create and maintain Instructions For Use (IFUs) documents, including product illustrations, layouts, and graphic content.
- Utilize tools such as Bartender, Adobe LiveCycle, and EnLabel to create or revise labeling artwork.
- Perform prepress activities and ensure labeling artwork files are production-ready.
Quality and Compliance:
- Proofread labeling artwork using measurement tools and ensure first-time-right accuracy.
- Maintain proper revision control and storage of labeling materials.
- Collaborate with teams to address NCRs/CAPAs, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, regulatory, legal, engineering, and marketing.
- Use PLM (Windchill) to manage document control and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (FDA, EU MDR, ISO, etc.).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator).
- Experience with Bartender is required; knowledge of Adobe LiveCycle, EnLabel, Windchill, and/or SAP is a plus.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with standards such as FDA, EU MDR, and ISO is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to proofread with minimal errors.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new processes and software quickly.
