Swoon is hiring a Product Designer for one of its clients, a major Healthcare company! A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX design is required.

• Duration: 10 month contract, until EOY 2025

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Product Designer to lead the design of intuitive, human-centered experiences within the Benefits Administration space. This role focuses on improving user interactions with health plan benefits, empowering users to engage effortlessly while driving organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

User Research & Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand priorities, success metrics, and objectives.
• Analyze user needs and tasks associated with health plan engagement.
• Develop user personas and journey maps to inform design strategies.

Design Leadership:

• Create user-friendly interfaces that enhance understanding and engagement with health plan benefits.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to align design goals with platform capabilities.
• Promote user-centered design practices and maintain consistency in design standards.

Prototyping & Testing:

• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and interface specifications.
• Conduct usability testing and refine designs based on feedback.
• Ensure designs adhere to accessibility and usability standards.

Project Management:

• Oversee projects from concept to implementation, meeting deadlines and maximizing resources.
• Communicate design strategies and updates to teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluate project outcomes and implement process improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of user experience design, ideally in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or insurance.
• Demonstrated ability to create scalable, user-friendly interfaces for complex systems.
• Expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
