The Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Producer will play a pivotal role in generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships in the commercial insurance sector. Your primary focus will be on selling property and casualty insurance products to businesses, ensuring they have the coverage they need to protect their assets and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and participation in industry events.
- Assess client needs and risk profiles to recommend appropriate insurance products and solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed insurance proposals, explaining coverage options, policy features, and pricing.
- Negotiate terms with insurance carriers to deliver competitive coverage options for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and service staff, to ensure efficient policy processing and issue resolution.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging risks to provide proactive guidance to clients.
- Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients, industry partners, and insurance carriers.
- Achieve or exceed established sales targets while adhering to compliance and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of success.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth within the insurance industry.
