Position Overview
We're seeking a dedicated Community Manager to be the heart and soul of our space three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday), ensuring our members feel welcomed, connected, and supported. This role combines hands-on facilities management with deep community engagement and membership growth, reporting directly to Poppy's owner.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Member Experience
Serve as the primary daily point of contact for members during your shifts
Create a welcoming, inclusive environment that embodies Poppy's values
Build genuine relationships with members and maintain detailed understanding of their goals
Facilitate strategic connections between members through thoughtful introductions
Manage comprehensive new member onboarding process
Track member attendance and engagement patterns
Provide regular updates to ownership about member satisfaction and community health
Events & Programming Management
Execute event logistics and setup based on owner-developed strategy
Coordinate with confirmed speakers and partners
Manage day-of event operations and member experience
Handle event registration and communications
Set up and break down event spaces
Gather and compile event feedback
Support owner in program development through member insights
Content Creation
Draft weekly newsletter for owner review
Create engaging social media content showcasing community and events
Capture photos and stories from events and daily community life
Document member success stories and testimonials
Create member spotlights and business highlights
Proactively identify and pursue new membership opportunities
Conduct engaging tours for prospective members
Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations
Create and implement membership growth strategies
Track sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in OfficeRND
Meet quarterly membership growth targets
Identify opportunities for partnerships and corporate memberships
Follow up with prospects in a timely manner
Report on sales metrics and provide insights for growth
Facilities Management
Maintain daily oversight of workspace operations and atmosphere
Manage opening and closing procedures Tuesday through Thursday
Oversee operational systems and coordinate with vendors for maintenance
Ensure consistent cleanliness standards and organization
Maintain inventory and manage ordering of essential supplies
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for basic issues
Assist with furniture arrangement for events (must be able to lift furniture safely)
Manage all member payments and space bookings through OfficeRND
Qualifications
Experience in community management, hospitality, or customer service
Proven sales experience or demonstrated ability to close deals
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience with event planning and execution
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Natural ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
Ability to lift and move furniture safely
Quick learner with technology (will be trained on OfficeRND)
Passion for supporting women in business and creating inclusive spaces
Local to Jackson Hole area
Time Commitment & Compensation
Regular schedule: Tuesday-Friday 8:20am-5:00pm MST (32 hours/week)
$30/hour contract rate
Commission structure:
$100 per new member brought to Poppy
Quarterly membership goals:
$500 bonus for reaching 10 new members per quarter
$1,000 bonus for reaching 15 new members per quarter
$1,500 bonus for reaching 20+ new members per quarter
Additional $250 bonus for each corporate membership secured
Complimentary Poppy membership ($389/month value)
Must be available during specified hours with consistent attendance
