We are looking for a Sales & Community Manager to be responsible for the direct management and oversight of our manufactured home community located in Springfield, Illinois. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction, and revenue. Responsibilities: Manage Resident Communication Establish positive working relationships with residents and parent guarantors by addressing all inquiries with care and kindness, always aiming to make the residents feel like they have been heard and valued. Effective conflict management skills to address any and all communication surrounding the resident life cycle including FAQs, Move-in/Move-Out processes, lease violation concerns/issues, and the delinquency and collection process. Delinquency Management Pulling delinquency reports daily to monitor, analyze and resolve unpaid balance Drafting 10-day notices and sending to the posting service Lease management Managing Security Deposit Reconciliations and Disputes Deposit Accounting Management Manage the turnover and marketing process/handoff to ensure fast leasing and a smooth transition for the team. Work Order Management Ensure completion deadlines are being met and that tech notes are updated when a WO becomes outside of deadlines Identify consistent/recurring issues and work towards a permanent solution Make sure you are staying in line with any property budgets Vendor/Work Order Management Help maintain healthy vendor relationships by sending out vendor availability email each week and making sure they arent overusing specific vendors Perform pre-inspections, Turn Inspections REQUIREMENTS As a Sales & Community Manager, you must have a strong business mindset together with the ability to place the highest priority on customer service. Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills are a vital part of your role. High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Studies, Hospitality or Business, a plus but not required Property leasing: 3 years (Required) Property management: 3 years (Preferred) Property sales experience General knowledge of repair and maintenance duties Solid negotiation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law Computer proficiency, including the internet and Microsoft Office Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours All applicants are welcome to apply.
