Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Design Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the design team in the development of innovative and creative designs for a well-known giga-project What You'll Be Doing: This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and visual design. The Senior Design Manager will be responsible for managing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that all designs meet the project's goals and objectives. They will also be responsible for overseeing the design team, providing guidance and feedback, and ensuring that all designs are of the highest quality. Further responsibilities require staying up to date on the latest design trends and technologies, and for ensuring that the design team is utilizing the most effective tools and techniques. The Senior Design Manager will also be required to interface with the construction team and coordinate any changes needed to facilitate the construction of the project. With current skill sets of a multi-disciplined (MD) lead, the SDM will have a background in one of the following vocations: Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Public Health and in addition to the dedicated package MD lead aspect of the role, the specialism can be called on to advise on a ‘City-wide’ capacity. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree Qualified or equivalent professional registration in a role related architecture, engineering or construction related subject from an accredited institution. 22+ years of experience of managing design and/or construction of super high-rise or complex building or infrastructure projects with strong architectural focus What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Preferably Chartered.
