Tennr
Tennr is hiring: Product Designer in New York
Tennr, New York, NY, United States, 10292
About Tennr:
Today, when you go to your doctor and need to be referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends a fax (yes, in 2024, 90% of provider-provider communication is a 1980s fax). These are often converted into 20+ page PDFs, with handwritten (doctor's handwriting!) notes, in thousands of different formats. The problem is so complex that a person has to read it, type it up, and manually enter your information. Tennr built RaeLLM™ (7B-trained on 3M+ documents) to read these docs, talk to your doc to ensure nothing is missed, and text you to help schedule your appointment so you can get better, faster.
Tennr is a NYC-based tech company that launched out of Y-Combinator and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Foundation Capital, The New Normal Fund, and other top investors.
About the role:
As an early designer at Tennr, you'll leverage your design expertise and product insight to design experiences that reduce patient delays across the U.S Healthcare System.
We are looking for a Senior to Principal-level Product Designer who is passionate about tackling the most complex challenges in healthcare and isn't afraid to own them. Someone who skillfully parses through ambiguity and deeply cares about creating the best possible experiences. You'll report directly to co-founder/CPO Diego to help inform our roadmap and problems to work on.
Up to this point, design and usability in the healthcare software stack has seemingly been forgotten - we're changing that with our obsession for simplicity and optimization of the jobs to be done. Simple is better. Simple is faster.
"The patients are not going to process themselves."
