Your Role:
As our CAD Design and PDM Specialist, you’ll be the go-to authority for SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM, leading our efforts in design excellence and product lifecycle management. From global CAD administration to technical innovation, you’ll be an integral part of our success.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related).
- 10+ years of SolidWorks expertise (CSWE certification preferred).
- 10+ years of SolidWorks PDM experience (CPAP certification preferred).
- Proven track record in CAD administration and global PDM Vault management.
- Extensive experience with BOM structuring, 3D modeling, and assembly drawings for complex products with 500+ components.
- Strong background in creating technical documentation and process control instructions.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in integrating SolidWorks with Altium Designer and ERP systems.
- Deep knowledge of file permissions, IT upgrades, and part number creation processes.
- Advanced skills in material selection, CAD renderings, and SolidWorks Simulation.
Industry Knowledge
- Expertise in medical device design under FDA, ISO 13485, and MDR compliance.
- Familiarity with QMS processes like Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Phase-Gate systems.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with SolidWorks Composer, CAMWorks, and collaborative ERP systems.
- Design skills in electro-mechanical, hydraulic devices, and electrical assemblies.
- Advanced CAD rendering for marketing materials and external partner models.
