Vectra AI is seeking a driven, self-directed, and creative Marketing Intern to support our web, digital, and field marketing initiatives. This role will assist in completing projects, campaigns, and events to drive engagement and growth. You’ll work closely with our Digital Marketing, Americas Field Marketing to execute backlink and other SEO tactics, coordinate webinars & events, create derivative content, create social posts and ad copy, and support other targeted outreach and nurture efforts. Ideal candidates are meticulous, proactive, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in B2B tech marketing at a high-growth, global AI-based cybersecurity company.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in planning, executing, and tracking digital and field marketing campaigns
  2. Promote our AI Scholarship program on university websites and social media platforms
  3. Partner with our SOC champion to plan and execute a weekly content series
  4. Create a behind the scenes/a day in the life social series to showcase the expertise of our researchers, data scientists, and SOC analysts
  5. Use customer story images and posts for use across organic and social media
  6. Support event coordination and logistics for field marketing activities
  7. Convert PDFs to web pages to improve SEO

Qualifications

  1. Required background
    1. Currently pursuing a degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Management, or related field
    2. Junior or Senior at an Austin area university
    3. Strong technical proficiency and interest in learning about cybersecurity
    4. Career interest in B2B Marketing
  2. Desired Skills
    1. Outstanding writer and communicator that can work within our brand and writing guidelines
    2. Strong interpersonal skills, proactive communication style, and a sense of urgency
    3. Familiarity with social media best practices
    4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    5. Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
    6. Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
    7. Proficiency with Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
