Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Marketing Director to lead our small business marketing efforts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an ever-changing industry and is ready to wear multiple hats. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, website management, social media, and advertising platforms like Google Ads, along with basic graphic design skills.

Responsibilities

  • Website Management & Development: Maintain and update the company website using HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Troubleshoot issues and ensure site functionality across all devices. Implement SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and search rankings.
  • Digital Advertising (Google Ads, PPC, etc.): Plan, create, and manage PPC campaigns across Google Ads and other platforms. Monitor and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI. Conduct keyword research and manage Google Ads budgets.
  • Social Media Strategy & Management: Develop and implement social media marketing strategies across platforms like Facebook, Google My Business, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Manage content calendars and create posts that engage and grow our audience. Analyze and report on social media performance metrics.
  • Basic Graphic Design: Design simple graphics for use across digital platforms (website, social media, ads). Work with external vendors or designers on larger projects, when needed.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with the team to create engaging content for blogs, newsletters, and marketing materials. Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and business goals.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze key marketing metrics (website traffic, conversion rates, ad performance, etc.). Provide regular reports to the leadership team with insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing, website management, and social media strategy.
  • Proficiency in website coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, PPC, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize marketing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a small business environment.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
