The Marketing Specialist implements hospital-wide internal and external communications. Responsibilities of this position include:
- Writes, designs and proofreads publications, press releases, feature articles, website content and advertisements.
- Leads physician and provider onboarding needs of the department, including meeting with physicians, writing bios, scheduling headshots, etc.
- Coordinates physician and provider profile videos, and other videos as needed.
- Implements organizational reputation management plan and moderates third-party reviews.
- Oversees Google and third-party listings for locations and providers.
- Project lead for special marketing programs based on the needs of the organization.
- Writes copy and assists in creation of brochures, digital ads, publications, and print collateral.
- Oversees online brochure/print storefront for organizational ordering.
- Assists coordinating hospital promotional events such as open houses, ceremonies, health fairs; videography and photography as needed.
- Serves as Marketing representative on internal committees as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements for this position include:
- 1-2 years of marketing and public relations experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to perform public relations, marketing, community development, advertising, and in-hospital communication duties.
- Knowledge with graphic design, social media, newsletter production, feature writing, and media relations.
