POSITION PURPOSE

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive informed marketing strategies. This role involves assessing the performance of marketing campaigns, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize ROI. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of marketing principles, and proficiency in data visualization tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  2. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
  3. Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and performance reports.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and assess campaign success.
  5. Use tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Excel to analyze and visualize data.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies, including digital, social media, and traditional channels.
  7. Perform customer segmentation, audience building, and overall campaign management.
  8. Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making.
  9. Monitor and forecast market trends to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  10. Manage and clean marketing datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  11. Partner with CX executives on overall customer retention strategies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Data Analytics, Marketing, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. At least 4 years related experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Comfortable working with and communicating with all levels of employees including senior leadership and external vendors and customers. Routinely reads, interprets, and analyzes financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental/legal regulations. Routinely writes complex detailed reports and business correspondence. Routinely presents information and responds to questions from groups of managers (may include top management), clients, customers, and the general public.

REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY

Routinely analyzes and defines problems, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Able to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.). Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions/information in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and non-concrete variables.
