Position Overview: The Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as a Marketing Lecturer, beginning Fall 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of undergraduate and potentially graduate-level Marketing courses, with a possible focus on Marketing Research and Marketing Communication.
- Course topics may include survey design and analysis, quantitative and qualitative research, data-driven decision-making, advertising, public relations, social media marketing, and promotion.
- Participate in department and college service activities.
Other Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver assigned course(s) under the direction of the Department Head.
- Contributing member of Department and College faculty.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Requires master’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience. A terminal degree is required to teach at the graduate level.
Other Required Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of marketing areas such as segmentation, positioning, pricing, relationship marketing, marketing communications, product development, quantitative/qualitative research design, and data interpretation.
- Experience in marketing management positions in private or public organizations in addition to a demonstrated teaching interest and ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Evidence of high-quality teaching through, for example, teaching evaluations and letters of recommendation.
