Omnitrans, provider of public mass transit for the San Bernardino Valley in Southern California is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our award-winning team. The ideal candidate hired will develop materials to promote the Agency’s image and further established marketing goals by performing the following duties:

1. Researches data, creates ideas, and produces content for agency social media channels and blog. Writes copy and designs brochures, fliers, posters, and other marketing collateral.
2. Conceives, produces promotional and customer education videos.
3. Administers the agency Club Rideshare Program, writing and producing promotional materials, purchasing prizes, and maintenance of related database and rideshare survey results.
4. Coordinates, designs, and writes copy for employee, passenger, and outreach newsletters.
5. Represents the agency at community, governmental or business meetings or expositions; participates in special events.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Proficiency in desktop publishing and photography skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field with two (2) or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in desktop publishing and photography skills is required. Bilingual skills preferred. Must be familiar with current business operating systems, software, and programs, including Adobe Creative Cloud and social media management systems.

Candidates will be screened for relevant qualifying experience that consists of an evaluation of education and experience. The most competitively qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the selection process. The selection process may include a combination of written, performance, and oral examinations. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical exam, including a drug test, and a criminal background investigation, which will include Live Scan fingerprinting.
