Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced and strategic Interim Director of Corporate Communications to join our client for a remote opportunity! This contract opportunity offers up to $56/hour! The Interim Director of Corporate Communications will lead content creation, manage media relationships, and oversee communication strategies aligned with our brand guidelines. Reporting to the Vice President of Demand Generation, this role collaborates with demand generation, industry, and product go-to-market teams to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences, maintain key press and analyst relationships, and drive cohesive communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee high-quality content, including press releases, announcements, articles, and internal/external communications, ensuring alignment with brand voice and standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to deliver consistent messaging across campaigns, publications, and promotional materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for public relations agencies, managing relationships and ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Address reactive media inquiries, prepare executive spokespeople, and develop FAQs, articles, and other messaging materials.
  • Lead executive communication efforts by crafting content in alignment with leadership's voice and vision.
  • Manage the analyst relations program, including scheduling and preparing teams for briefings, inquiries, and conferences.
  • Coordinate the company's participation in key analyst conferences, ensuring a strong and cohesive presence.
  • Oversee content creation and distribution across communication channels such as newsletters, podcasts, and videos.
  • Partner with growth marketing teams to enhance social media strategies, website content, and design for maximum clarity and engagement.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, providing insights and reports to senior leadership.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliverables under tight deadlines, maintaining high-quality output.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or media relations.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences.
  • Proven experience managing PR agencies and analyst relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with excellent project management skills.
