Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter eager to contribute toward leveraging the Epsilon data platform for scaling personalization with privacy-compliant data. This team will lead building an audience strategy supporting all Verizon brands.
The Associate Director will be accountable for both strategic and operational responsibilities, helping to discover and define target audiences for Verizon campaigns while also ensuring audience segments are sent to channel partners for campaign activation through collaboration with Strategy and Investment teams.
The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about audience planning, media planning/buying workflow and operations. She/He is self-motivated, curious, a critical thinker, and a team player.
Responsibilities
The Associate Director will report directly to the VP and be responsible for:
- Designing actionable strategies across the 'Power of One' delivery model to manage audience platforms, drive Groupe technology solutions, and deliver data-driven business outcomes
- Leading audience-focused learning agendas, use cases, and performance frameworks for Verizon
- Orchestrating ways of working and driving the creation and execution of case studies supporting broad audience initiatives and QA across inter-agency teams
- Collaborating with both internal (i.e., media, analytics, operations, & data science) departments and clients on a regular basis
- Presenting findings to external media managers and/or other senior staff
- Collaborating with Strategy and Investment teams to build/activate custom audiences
- Being an advocate for the Audience Analytics team by evangelizing the platform which can unlock growth opportunities and customer experience enhancements
- Managing audience overlap, governance, and prioritization using behavioral and commercial audience insights to advise campaign leads
- Collaborating with Strategy on delivering audience insights addressing media strategy, profiling, messaging, and other insights to meet campaign goals
- Coordinating audience deployments and workflows across our channel partners and internal marketing, analytics, and planning teams for proper activation
Qualifications
- Data-driven strategist with demonstrated success in Audience Segmentation, Personalization, Marketing, Media/Investment strategy
- 5+ years of direct marketing experience preferably in a consumer products business
- 5+ years of experience managing and improving workflows across multiple stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience delivering accurate and insightful business reporting and applying critical thinking to data to problem solve and drive business performance
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Self-starter with the ability to pick up a project and move it forward with limited direction
- Service-oriented, with an understanding and inclination towards good client service
- History of effectively managing customers and successfully working with internal teams to complete tasks and projects
- Experience with Python/SQL
- Experience with lookalike (LAL) and clustering models (k-means)
- Experience with Comscore, GWI, MRI, Nielsen

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $130,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
