Job Description: As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in prepping, programming, loading, setting up, and striking equipment for a variety of events, ranging from conferences and concerts to weddings. Under the guidance of our AV Director, you will learn all the ins and outs of the industry. This is a perfect position for someone out of college looking to gain experience. You will be directly engaging with customers, providing exceptional customer service, and exceeding their expectations. Your responsibilities also include troubleshooting equipment and ensuring flawless event execution. At VSP, our high-energy and friendly staff are known for their passion for the industry!

Responsibilities:

  1. Programming and prepping equipment
  2. Loading and unloading trucks
  3. Setting up and striking equipment
  4. Working live events operating to your strength in either audio, lighting, video, projection, photobooth, talent assistant, etc.
  5. Engaging with clients

Requirements:

  • NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Own laptop and own form of transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Proficient in operating large vans and box trucks (CDL license not mandatory)
  • Demonstrates excellence in one or more of the preferred skillsets listed below
  • Out-of-state travel, extended stays, and weekend work commitments
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a fun personality
  • Two references from past employers

Preferred Skillsets:

  • Passion and commitment to the entertainment industry
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Knowledge of connecting, troubleshooting, and running any audio, lighting, or projection
  • Additional skills in related areas (e.g., photography, camera operation, graphic design, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD) are a plus
