Workrise is hiring a talented Sales Content Specialist to join the Revenue Operations team. You will play a pivotal role in the sales process - helping to arm the sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to engage with potential customers and close deals effectively. This role is integral to the sales process, requiring strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to craft persuasive proposals that drive business growth.
The Sales Content Specialist will be responsible for developing content that directly supports sales performance and drives revenue - as well as creating and managing client proposals for the revenue organization. This role will be exempt and will report to the Manager, Sales Operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and create sales presentations, one-sheeters, customer testimonials, whitepapers, and other supporting sales enablement materials that articulate our strategic messaging in a compelling, persuasive manner.
- Capture, shape, and synthesize information to reflect a cohesive message, written in one voice.
- Evaluate and update existing content to reflect current brand standards and improve effectiveness.
- Own the proposal process - manage the development and delivery of sales proposals in response to RFIs and standalone proposals.
- Create client proposals as needed for the sales team.
- Review proposals to identify new questions, areas of concern, unique requirements and opportunities for differentiation.
- Conduct thorough reviews of proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively.
- Coordinate and review proposal input from sales, marketing, estimating teams, and other stakeholders.
- Lead proposal kick-off meetings, alignment sessions, and the review and finalization process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and compelling proposal/asset content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and depth.
- Maintain a central repository of sales enablement content, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible to the sales team.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Grit / Motivated / Adaptable.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of work experience creating proposals and sales enablement materials.
- Proven experience in sales enablement content design and creation (presentations, proposals, internal supporting assets, etc.).
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Understanding of the sales process and buyer journey.
- Proficiency in presentation software and tools (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Google Docs, etc.).
- A willingness to stay current with emerging technologies in the Content management space.
- Ability to think strategically and align content creation efforts with broader enablement goals and organizational objectives.
- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams and business units.
- Project management skills, and an ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while maintaining target dates and deliverables.
- Highly organized, accurate, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Ability to synchronize and templatize effective sales enablement content for scale and efficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts and craft persuasive messaging and copy.
Additional experience preferred, but not required:
- Graphic Design / Creative skills to design visually appealing presentations, infographics, newsletters, etc.
- Salesforce Experience.
