Our client, in the pharmaceutical space, is looking to add a Creative Service Director to their team. This person will be responsible for leading a Pharma-Customer facing Creative Services team who supports client-facing teams responsible for patient engagement programs as well as corporate marketing. This is a remote, contract to hire position.
You must have pharmaceutical experience to be considered.
Role Responsibilities:
Clients & Teams
- Demonstrate ability to strategically collaborate with pharma client teams, agency creative teams, and account teams.
- Establish credibility with clients at all levels by developing knowledge of client’s business - both the brand itself and stakeholders involved.
- Support client relationship and serve as Creative subject matter expert, lead creative meetings and presentations.
- Champion bold, transformative ideas and tether them to omnichannel marketing strategy - thinking conceptually and ideating for holistic, digitally powered brand campaigns.
- Interface with pharma manufacturers to develop successful omnichannel and single channel brand focused campaigns to drive patient engagement for adherence/awareness/direct to consumer campaigns.
- Support pharma clients in the development of effective patient engagement campaigns.
- Ensure all engagement activities comply with MLR, local regulations and SOP.
Corporate Marketing & Communications
- Oversee all aspects of design ensuring user-friendly, visually appealing, and brand-consistent web experiences.
- Oversee the development and execution of web design, collateral, digital and print projects, ensuring user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) best practices are implemented.
- Utilize advanced PowerPoint skills to create compelling presentations for internal and client-facing purposes, effectively communicating design ideas and strategies.
- Drive the creative direction of projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality, on-brand, and timely delivery of all design materials.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of the market.
Team Management
- This role supports teams in both the US and Australia and requires the ability to augment work schedules to support the team.
- Manage and mentor a creative services team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, innovation, professional growth and global synergies across regions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure cohesive brand/product messaging, positioning and alignment with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with pharma manufacturers to promote brands is a MUST.
- Bachelor's degree in a creative field (Marketing, Graphic Design, or Fine Arts).
- At least 12+ years of experience working in creative departments at agencies on omnichannel pharma clients, DAOR or AOR experience is a must. Pharmacy experience is a preference.
- 7+ years’ experience managing people and leading creative teams.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for effective design, copy and digital user experiences.
- Digitally savvy - with knowledge in the areas of interactive design, information architecture and user experience. An understanding of the full breadth of digital platforms and solutions and how to steer creative outcomes across the full ecosystem.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, with a demonstrated ability to create visually engaging and impactful presentations.
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Design Suite. Generative AI design experience is also preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and scaling creative teams.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of brand development and the ability to translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
- Experience utilizing Hubspot and working in a dynamic team setting, hands-on in design and management.
