Position: TS/SCI (CI Poly) Technical Editor
Location: Ft. Meade, MD (100% ONSITE)
Duration: Long Term Contract (Contract goes until July 2026)

MUST HAVES:
- Obtain and maintain a TS/SCI (will have to obtain CI Poly) | Bachelors & 8 Years OR Masters & 3+ Years (MUST HAVE A DEGREE)
- Extensive experience reviewing/editing technical intelligence documents
Senior Technical Editor Responsibilities:
- Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.
- Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
- Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
- Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed.
- Assists in the management of all J2 finished intelligence products approved for external dissemination.
- Researches and collects information from internal and external stakeholder subject matter experts as well as other sources.
- Analyzes, interprets, cross-checks and edits intelligence products, as required, to ensure accuracy and compliance with associated Intelligence Community guidance, to include but not limited to ICDs 206, 209, 501 and 710.
- Organizes information, determines the optimum method of presentation, and creates content according to plan.
- Ensures completed materials fulfill the specified purpose and scope.
- Assists in determining and supervising the production process for completed materials.
