NA Technical Product Owner, Trade Promotions

This position reports to NA Lead Sales Ops and Customer Enabling Technology and is based in Skillman, NJ or Markham Canada (Kenvue is currently in the process of moving its Global Headquarters from Skillman, NJ to Summit, NJ. This role is based in Summit, NJ but there may be a period during the transition that you must report to Skillman, NJ).

Location: Skillman, NJ or Markham, Canada (Kenvue is currently in the process of moving its Global Headquarters from Skillman, NJ to Summit, NJ. This role is based in Summit, NJ but there may be a period during the transition that you must report to Skillman, NJ.)

What you will do

The NA Technical Product Owner, Trade Promotions individual will work closely with the North American Sales Operations, Customer Enabling and RGM teams in support of end-to-end strategic TPM, Sales Planning, Forecasting and Quota initiatives. The role can be located in our Markham, Ontario offices or Skillman, NJ, with flexible remote work possibility.

This role leads both technical product and platform teams responsible for critical North America Trade Promotion Management capabilities. This role requires a mix of technical knowledge, strategic leadership, and excellent management skills to shape and influence our North America Sales technology landscape to live into the Kenvue “Digital First” vision.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Product Owner for existing trade promotion, planning, and forecasting products in Canadian and US markets.
  2. TPx Program Lead for a new SaaS-based TPM tool for NA, focusing on UX, process, and analytics.
  3. Lead the overall strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for the existing trade promotion, planning, and forecasting products in Canadian and US markets.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and finance, to define and prioritize product features.
  5. Shape the technology team offering through improvement of existing tools and deployment of new capabilities.
  6. Ensure that the TPM tool meets business objectives and delivers a superior user experience.
  7. Work closely with the engineering team to design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements.
  8. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding the TPM tool(s).
  9. Gather and prioritize requirements from various stakeholders.
  10. Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and release plans to stakeholders.
  11. Drive regional OKRs and Customer Team objectives to ensure overall value/return on investment.
  12. Lead troubleshooting efforts for any technical issues related to the TPM tool or its integrations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in product management, technical project management, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  3. Strong technical background with experience in software development, APIs, and system integrations.
  4. Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Experience in data analytics analysis / insights is required, particularly with PowerBI, Tableau or similar platform.
  6. Demonstration of strong collaboration skills is required.
  7. Agile frameworks knowledge (Scrum)
  8. Proven ability to lead teams onsite and offshore.
  9. Ability to work independently and take ownership for results.
